Beauty Expo: Celebrating Beauty for All!

It was with great excitement and enthusiasm that Jack’s of Fiji hosted its first ever Beauty Expo at its Suva Pier Street store. Curious customers flocked to the store to get their beauty consultations and make the most of what Jack’s was offering. It was a passion project that took months of planning, culminating in the showpiece event on World Beauty Day on 9th and 10th September (great timing!). The Beauty Expo firmly cemented Jack’s of Fiji position as one of the eminent players in the Fiji beauty retail industry, offering affordable and natural products for all skin types.

The glitz of the Expo was having experienced Makeup Artists namely Monisha Maisuria from Monisha Makeup & Photography and Rayan Krishneel from  Makeup & Hair Fiji, qualified Beauty Therapists from Spa Academy Fiji with courtesy of Debra Sadranu, Managing Director and Principal, Spa Academy and Dr Redwan Bhuiyan, Head of Department – Dermatology of P.J Twomey Hospital, Tamavua, all present at one place, they provided the right advice on skin, makeup and skincare needs to customers through free consultations and demonstrations.

“At Jack’s, we believe and support diversity in beauty hence we retail affordable, green and ethical beauty products for all skin types and skin undertones, this in fact provided us the confidence to associate with the beauty experts and host this Beauty Expo to showcase the various beauty products we have,” said Satrupa Raj, Head of Beauty Category, Jack’s of Fiji.

“It was a proud moment for us to bring together our customers and the experts under one roof where they spoke to each other about their skin issues and makeup needs. We believe that due to busy lifestyles, customers may not have the luxury of time to visit the experts, especially a dermatologist for consultations. Hence, this was a very good opportunity for customers to meet up with them for advice and solutions for their skin concerns,” she added.

Jack’s of Fiji invested $15k to host this Expo which also offered gifts with purchases, fun-filled pampering services and an overall life-changing experience for their customers.

Due to an overwhelming number of customers attending the Expo and where positive feedback and appreciation was received, Jack’s of Fiji hopes to add the Beauty Expo to their annual events calendar and bring the Expo back again in 2023.
