Lali is made of hardwood that has been aged in the earth called Vesi. It is shaped and hollowed out to produce a deep resonance, which can be heard from a distance. They were formally mean of communication, announcing births, deaths, wars, victories,etc each of which is announced by their own rhythmic patterns. These are smaller replicas of the larger drums. Comes in back and brown.
